Hello! My name is kae and I'm an artist born and raised in San Ramon, California. I'm currently in my last year at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago focusing in Fashion Design and Visual Communications.

The way that I create always come from instinct and intuition in the moment. I tend to generate ideas by sketching and researching for a project, decide on an official direction, and refine it as I go along accordingly. This results in my work ending with new twists and details that weren't there from the start as I add and take away by instinct and feel. My environment, current state, people around me, and more are all elements that have an impact on the work that I make as it influences my intuition with what I do for my work. The materials I use mostly include fabrics but I love to try and experiment with other materials in order to grow as an artist. I am still in the process of developing who I am as an artist but I do want my art to be accessible to all and something that is memorable and nostalgic to those who view it.
