Hello! My name is kae and I'm an artist born and raised in San Ramon, California. I'm a recent graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor in Fine Arts focusing on Fashion Design and Visual Communications.

As an artist, the way that I create always come from instinct and intuition in the moment. I tend to generate ideas by sketching and researching for a project, decide on an official direction, and refine it as I go along accordingly. This results in my work ending with new twists and details that weren't there from the start as I add and take away by instinct and feel. My environment, current state, people around me, and more are all elements that have an impact on the work that I make as it influences my intuition with what I do for my work. The materials I use mostly include fabrics but I love to try and experiment with other materials in order to grow as an artist. I am still in the process of developing who I am as an artist but I do want my art to be accessible to all and something that is memorable and nostalgic to those who view it.
